Divemaster
The PADI  Divemaster course is the first professional level scuba certification. This course will give you indepth knowledge of diving. It covers diving related physics, physiology, skills, the underwater environment, and decompresion theory. The PADI Divemaster course will also expand the problem solving skills you began to develop in the Rescue Diver course by extending these from accident prevention and management to supervisory situations with certified divers and students. Many PADI Divemasters go on to become PADI Assistant Instructors or Instructors, and the Divemaster course will give you the foundation needed to attain these ratings. Whether or not you aspire to become a professional scuba diver, the Divemaster course is a fun, challenging, and rewarding course. It is the "black belt" of scuba ratings.

The PADI Divemaster course is an indepth course. It can be completed in as little as 15 days, but is more suited to be done over a period of 30-45 days (students can take up to a year to complete all sections of the course if neccesary). It involves independent study, classroom discussion, and practical application of skills learned, both in the water and out. It also involves a waterskills and stamina test, assisting instructors with other scuba classes, and leading certified divers (including planning the dive profile). Divemaster candidates must have 20 logged dives to begin the course, and 60 logged dives by the completion of it. To assist you in completing the logged dives requirement, once you sign up for your Divemaster course, all of your fun dives are free. Divemaster candidates are considered staff and are expected to be professional in their behavior and appearance. They are also expected to assist with dive center operations.

PADI Divemasters are professional divers and can work in the scuba industry leading fun divers, and assisting Instructors. Imagine getting paid to do what you love. If you have ever considered a career in scuba or you just want to attain a level of knowledge about diving that is a cut above the rest, the PADI Divemaster course will give it to you.
