PADI Scuba Diver

| The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subcourse within the Open Water Diver course. It is a great alternative for those people that wish to dive, but may have limited time or budget. Divers that earn this rating can later go on to finish their Open Water Diver course at their leisure.
The PADI Scuba Diver course can be completed in 2 days, and involves independent study, classroom discussion, 3 confined water dives, and 2 Open Water Dives. A PADI Scuba Diver is certified to dive under the supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor to a depth of 60 ft (20m) in non-overhead environments. PADI Scuba Divers may, while under supervision, obtain scuba equipment, tanks and tank fills. Most of all, Open Water Divers get to experience the amazing underwater world firsthand. |
